First Alert Forecast: Showers, breezy winds ahead of lighter winds with drier conditions

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Expect a few more showers today, mostly favoring windward neighborhoods. Breezy trade winds will gradually ease through late Tuesday and become light and variable from Wednesday through the weekend. Drier, more stable weather will commence Wednesday. Mainly dry conditions and light winds will occur from Thursday into the weekend. A weak front moving into the far northern offshore waters over the weekend may increase early week shower activity.
East shores will remain choppy with dropping wave heights. A small NW pulse is due Wednesday, another bigger swell is due over the weekend. South shore surf will remain small.
